Native POP showcases and celebrates contemporary and traditional Native artwork, performances and demonstrations by culture bearers in the heart of downtown Rapid City, creating opportunities to build cross-cultural conversation and understanding.
Native POP supports 50 artists and their families, the numerous culture bearers, performers and their families, as well. As we know, today’s economy fluctuates for artists, culture bearer’s, and performers and Native POP is proud to be able to provide an equitable opportunity in the Great Plains region with your help! The sponsorship goes directly in to their pockets.
The all-day Saturday and Sunday event features 50 juried emerging and established Native American Great Plains artists with free performances and demonstrations. The event kicks off with a ticketed Friday night artist reception and awards at Rapid City’s Dahl Arts Center.
