Native POP 2020: covid19 update

Dear Native POP: People of the Plains Artists, Families, and Supporters

First and foremost, the Native POP committee hopes you and your families are in good health and staying safe.  Secondly, with all of our relatives health in mind, Native POP: People of the Plains 2020 will be cancelled.

Upcoming: Native POP: People of the Plains 2021 is in the planning phases and our committee is excited to add a couple creative new features. So be sure to stay tuned!  The Black Hills and surrounding communities are excited to create partnerships with Native POP to continue the vision of keeping the art market alive for artists, our community, and collectors.

Artists: All artists who applied for Native POP 2020 will be contacted directly to gather more information.  We will be featuring artists on the Native POP website, as well as providing resources.  Artists, please complete this survey to provide feedback on other potential opportunities Native POP may be able to help provide you during this pandemic time and the upcoming year.  Native POP Artist Survey

Visitors and Collectors: If you have attended Native POP or plan to in the future, consider donating to Native POP now to help us support our Great Plains artists, as we will be offering various forms of support to our artists throughout this time, and continue planning for 2021's event.  Donation information is below.

Volunteers: Native POP does not exist without you!  You are appreciated and we hope you will continue to provide your expertise.  During this time, Native POP will be providing services in various ways to artists. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch soon.

Please take care of one another. And we wish you all good health, safety, happiness and thank you for your continued support!
With all our best,

The Native POP Committee

The Native POP Board of Directors postponed making this decision in hopes that life might resume safely before July.  And unfortunately we cannot risk the health of our relatives and community. Through this transforming time in our world, the Native POP Board of Directors and I are greatly devoted to providing Great Plains artists a market for years to come.
